Lebanon-based Ghanaian Joyce Bilabam has disclosed that her ex-boyfriend borrowed about GHS10,000 from her and eventually broke up with her.
In a chat on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Joyce revealed that she met her dancehall artiste-ex-boyfriend through a friend and maintained a ‘serious’ relationship with him until he called for a breakup.
According to Joyce, they lived together whenever she visited Ghana. She mentioned that her ex often asked her for money, intending to pay back, but he never did.
“I have all the receipts and evidence, but he’s denying it now. I’ve sent him some monies that I don’t have receipts for, but right now, I only want him to pay back the amount I have in receipts.
You make mistakes when you’re young. I never thought he’d do such things and cover it with love. I can’t remember the exact amount, but it will be more than GHS10,000. He never gave me money because he felt that I was working,” she said.
Moreover, Joyce indicated that they were together for five years, but she had no idea that the dancehall artiste had several baby mamas. She said, “he told me that her baby mama’s family was forcing him into marrying their child and asked for a breakup.”
