Germany-based Ghanaian Ophelia Osei has disclosed that her uncle never met her husband, but she married him anyway.
In q chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA, Ophelia indicated that she took a risk because they barely knew each other, and her uncle refused to see him. However, they loved each other and decided to stay together.
She shared some difficulties in their marriage and how they overcame them as newlyweds. “I did everything alone without family support. It was very tough. I left my uncle’s house after I got pregnant, and my husband had issues with his apartment.
He was sharing with a friend, and two others joined us. So we were thrown out and ended up in a homeless shelter. I was pregnant with no job or food, but my husband had a job,” she narrated.
Mrs Osei further mentioned that the government gave her a room and paid her bills after she gave birth. Ophelia and her husband have been for four years and have two kids together.
