Kwesi, a Ghanaian based in Ghana, appeared on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide show with DJ Nyaami.
According to him, the Aviator game has drained him of over GHC150,000, yet he is unable to stop playing.
Kwesi explained that he was first introduced to the game by a friend. He recalled sitting beside the friend while he played, and the friend taught him how the system worked. “He told me to deposit money and promised I would get double. Since that day, I’ve been playing non-stop,” he said.
Kwesi added that on the first day, his friend actually won some money and even gifted him GHC300, which made him believe the game was profitable. Later, when he was alone, he logged into the app and started playing again. With the account linked to his mother’s details, he could deposit and withdraw easily.
He shared that he started playing two years ago and initially made only GHC20,000 from it before stopping. However, he eventually returned to the game hoping to make more money, but things worsened and he now deeply regrets it.
Kwesi revealed that he is currently in debt and decided to speak out in hopes of getting help. For the past two years, he kept everything to himself. He contacted Nana Aba Anamoah and also messaged DJ Nyaami, who eventually responded.
Kwesi, who still lives with his parents, says he is terrified to tell them the truth because he fears his mother might collapse from the shock. He used to be financially stable and self-employed, but now his situation has changed drastically. He worries his parents will be disappointed because gambling is not something they expect from him.
DJ Nyaami advised him that the game is run by AI programming that detects when users have money in their accounts and uses algorithms to lure them into continuous betting.
