Maame Betty Shares Insightful Advice on Marriage and Relationships
Popular relationship adviser and UK-based personality, Maame Betty, appeared on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide show with DJ Nyaami, where she shared her thoughts on love, marriage, and maturity.
According to her, it is men who truly seek marriage—not women. She explained that only immature women focus on physical appearance when choosing a partner. “It’s childish for a woman to look only at a man’s looks. You need to see the inner person, someone who genuinely loves you. As you grow and mature, you begin to understand that character and integrity matter more than appearance,” she said.
Maame Betty further explained that marriage is not just for everyone—it is a calling. “It’s not any man or woman who can marry. Marriage is like a ministry; it requires truthfulness, patience, and integrity,” she noted.
She advised women to look for men they can build a future with rather than short-term attractions. “Most people stop marrying or walk out of marriages because the person they chose no longer supports them. You need someone who stands by you when life gets difficult, not someone who gives you their shoulder only for a short while,” she emphasized.
Maame Betty also highlighted that men can find services like cooking, cleaning, or even companionship outside marriage. However, true marriage goes beyond that. “People marry for companionship, trust, and to have someone who can stand with them through challenges. That’s the essence of a strong marriage,” she concluded.
