Popular TikTok star and Kuwawood movie actor Krix Krox shared valuable insights on the realities of living abroad.

In a recent interview with DJ Nyaami, CEO of SVTV Africa, on the Daily Hustle Worldwide show, He emphasized that before traveling internationally, particularly to Canada, it’s crucial to have enough funds to cover at least six months’ rent.

Krix explained that once in Canada, agencies assist with job placement. After proving your skills and capabilities, companies are likely to offer permanent positions after a successful three-month probation period.

Reflecting on his experiences, Krix revealed that after living in both Ghana and Canada, he has no intention of returning to Ghana, as he is thoroughly content with his life in Canada.

He has also released an upcoming series titled The New Guy on YouTube, which will highlight the challenges of life abroad, including the surprising reality that even your own mother can evict you from her house in another country.

Krix shares this series weekly on YouTube every Sunday.

Krix advised potential migrants, particularly those from Ghana, to plan accordingly when moving abroad.

“Save enough for six months’ rent before leaving Ghana,” he stressed, adding that Canada offers many job opportunities, but financial stability is essential while you search for work.

He further commented on the contrast between Ghanaians living in Ghana and those abroad, stating that the former tend to face more depression and struggles than the latter.

He also mentioned the shared housing arrangements that are becoming more common in places like Canada and Dubai, where individuals pool resources while job hunting.

Finally, Krix highlighted the importance of bringing sufficient funds from Africa to support oneself during the transition abroad, as immigration processes are often exploited by those looking to take advantage of newcomers.
