Canada-based Ghanaian Danny stated that Ghanaians who have travelled out of the country for greener pastures are cowards.

Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Danny admitted that he failed Ghana by travelling abroad for greener pastures because the country is losing its brains to the already developed countries.

He claims that many of these individuals are, in essence, cowards abandoning their responsibilities to contribute to their nation’s development. In his view, by opting to relocate and pursue their dreams in foreign lands, they are shirking their duty to stay and actively work towards improving the conditions in their homeland.

“The fact that I left Ghana alone means I have failed my nation. Any Ghanaian living abroad right now is a coward. We are selfish for leaving the country because we could not keep up.”

Danny believes that staying and addressing the country’s challenges shows courage and commitment. Moreover, he spoke about the Ghanaian youth’s power and added that Ghana can only develop if they change their mindset.
