Raymond, a Ghanaian based in Japan disclosed that many Ghanaian men married to Japanese are mentally unstable because of the marriage conditions in the country.
According to Raymond, many African men work multiple jobs but their Japanese wives keep their salaries and give them monthly allowance.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Raymond mentioned that many who are married to Japanese women suffer in silence and are unable to voice their frustrations. Despite the low birth rate in Japan, foreign nationals, especially Africans fear to marry Japanese women due to this.
“The woman has control of the finances and becomes the head of the family. Many Ghanaian men here are mentally unstable. They work multiple jobs for extra income to support their families in Ghana. It is stressful and causing many to die.
Many often go to sleep and never wake up because of the workload and hours they do. I am scared to marry a Japanese woman because of what I’ve seen and heard. Some wives even physically abuse their husbands. Men have become slaves here,” he said.
