“If you have a simple vision of living an okay life with a home in Ghana and your kids in good schools, then living here may be your only goal. The UK gives you a stable life and job security.

But it does not make you financially free. But if you want to be wealthy like Kwame Despite and have some level of power, then living here will not be the best choice.”

Phillip added that many Ghanaians have become desperate to travel abroad due to the videos and comments some Ghanaians and Africans abroad make about life there.

“Most of those who often overpraise life abroad either had nothing in Ghana or did not struggle to get here. Don’t talk about life abroad if you’ve not lived here for more than 3 years because you have not had any experience yet,” he added.
