Ghanaian based in the US, Odehyieba has indicated that the recent protests/riots against immigrants happening in the UK are strategic.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide on SVTV AFRICA, Odehyieba stated that the UK citizens have realised that the foreigners/immigrants have gained more economic power and the natives continue to lose their power to them. As a result, “they want to send a message to the immigrants that they are still the owners of the land.”
“They have realised that the immigrants are taking over politically, and economically. There are Immigrants everywhere in academic, security. The Indians and Pakistanis have taken over the health industry and it is the foreigners who have the energy to do that work. The natives think they are losing their country.
So, they are testing their leaders to see if they will support them. Don’t forget the whites still believe they are superior beings. It is strategic. The immigrants must understand that no matter your permit, they won’t choose you over the natives. You are a second-class citizen,” he said.
Moreover, Odehyieba advised the immigrants especially Ghanaian-British to return home to build their country because “they are not part of the country. You came here to work for them, not compete with them.”
