Gucci Derkyi, a Ghanaian residing in the UK, recently stated that he has no intention of constructing a home in Ghana, unlike many Ghanaians living abroad, as he prefers to lead his life in the UK.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Gucci indicated that he is content with his life abroad and is not responsible for his family in Ghana.
Gucci shared that he recently purchased a Benz for £16,000 in cash. In response to whether he plans on investing or building a house in Ghana, he said, “I won’t build even a single room in Ghana. No, I won’t do it. I live here and I may not even return to Ghana.
I’m happy here and I struggled a lot in Ghana. They will misuse it. I’ve never sent money to Ghana before. I spend my money here. They (family) can find their way. I live and retire here.”
Speaking on social life in the UK, Gucci mentioned that despite the differences between the UK and Ghana, he makes himself happy by exploring different towns and cities.
What’s more, Gucci made it clear that he’s not thinking about tying the knot and wouldn’t consider bringing a woman from Ghana into the picture.
