“My ex saw potential in me and asked what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to further my education and he sponsored it. We often say men are not good but he was the best. We dated but never had sex.

He wanted me to complete school and then marry me. When he finally proposed, my family refused because of tribal issues. I was 21 and my mom said I was too young and he was Ga. I was too young to ask or go against their word,” she narrated.

Nana Aba added that despite his sacrifices, he agreed to a breakup and they have remained friends till now.
