Paul Dramani, a Ghanaian based in Saudi Arabia shared some of the benefits he enjoys as a teacher in the Middle East.

According to Paul, he applied for a teaching job and got it with his qualifications from Ghana. He said on the benefits and salary, “The employer provides accommodation and transportation for free and I get a tax-free salary. I also enjoy free health insurance and my salary is better than my previous job here.”

“There has been a tremendous improvement in my finances. I sometimes wonder how long it would have taken to make GHS10,000 in Ghana. I’m very comfortable here now and believe it was a good decision to come here,” he said on SVTV AFRICA.

Moreover, Mr Dramani added that the employer also applies and provides his work permit. He advised others to research as international schools in Saudi Arabia often employ teachers worldwide.
