Cynthia, a Germany-based Ghanaian disclosed that her ex-husband lied about having a permit to stay in Germany and having kids before their wedding.
According to Cynthia, her family asked him about them but he told them he didn’t have kids but she found out that he had three kids. In a chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Cynthia mentioned that he threatened to have her miscarry their baby because she refused to name him as the father of the unborn baby.
“I only found out everything he told was lies after I moved in with him. His cousin visited and mentioned his kids accidentally. Meanwhile, his family members in Ghana told us he did not have kids. I moved out but we got back together after a while.
We were together but I didn’t want to have his baby for years. When I finally got pregnant, he expected me to name him as the father but I refused. I applied for a permit and paid for it by myself. He didn’t support me with a cent.”
Cynthia added that he got angry and threatened to make her lose the baby when she was five months pregnant. She further stated that she stayed hidden from him until they finally got a divorce a year after she gave birth.
