James Osei Bonsu, a Ghanaian based in the UK shared a story on how his host threw him out soon after he arrived in the UK due to his insecurities.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, James mentioned that he was hosted by a 60-year-old in the UK who dated a 22-year-old. According to James, his host feared that he would snatch his 22-year-old girlfriend or have sex with her in his absence and threw him as a solution.
“I stayed with him for two weeks before he sacked me. He returned from a night out with friends to tell me to leave that night because his girlfriend was coming to stay with him. He didn’t believe in himself and thought I’d do something with the girl but that had not even occurred to me,” he recounted.
James mentioned that he had a sister in France but did not want to live with her for fear of a conflict between them. As a result, James moved in with an aunt in Belgium who eventually threw him out as well.
“I once visited my sister and when I returned home, my aunt asked why I did not move in with my sister. She also threw me out with an excuse that she was spending more than food and I was jobless at the time.”
James eventually found a place to stay where he met a man who advised him to move to the UK to live with him.
