Inkerbell, a Ghanaian living in the UK revealed that she had to pay her mother back for the cost of bringing her to the UK after she arrived.

In a Daily Hustle Worldwide interview with DJ Nyaami, Inkerbell mentioned that she did not know she would have to bear the cost when she arrived and felt hated by her mother.

In response to whether her mother’s measure was good, Inkerbell said, “I think it is good. If not, the person may not appreciate what has been done for them. In the beginning, I thought she didn’t love me. I wondered why a mother would do that.”

“It made me focus on work to pay off the debt. I didn’t spend indiscriminately because I had a debt to settle. It helped me focus on work and the important things,” she said.

Inkerbell has been in the UK for over a year now. She spoke about the cost of living and the differences and similarities between the cultures in Ghana and the UK.

According to her, relocating to the UK was a good decision. She currently works as a care worker.
