Lady Pastor Maria, a Ghanaian based in the US stated that any man who feels threatened by his educated wife is a manipulator.
In an SVTV Africa interview with DJ Nyaami, LP Maria indicated that men who refuse to date or marry an educated woman are probably manipulators. She advised men to see their wives as helpers regardless of their educational background.
“One thing the men must understand is that your educated wife is not competing with you but complements you. The only time a man feels threatened by a woman’s educational level is if he is manipulative.
Such men feel the woman will overshadow them because they want someone they can manipulate. Otherwise, they will see their women as complements,” she noted.
Speaking on the perception that educated women have a specific preference for men, LP Maria said, “If you’re not highly educated but have a skill, don’t see me as a threat. If you’re into masonry, I could use my knowledge to support your work.”
LP Maria reiterated that men must not see their educated wives as a threat but as a complement.
