Denmark-based Ghanaian Kofi revealed that his ex-wife got pregnant with another within nine months abroad.
In an SVTV Africa interview with DJ Nyaami, Kofi mentioned that he lived in South Africa for years, married, and had a child with his South African wife. They lived together for years before travelling to Germany with the plan to bring his family later.
“I didn’t like Germany and decided to move to Denmark but left for Sweden soon after. I left Germany because I heard the salary in Denmark was higher.
After I got the SA resident permit, I travelled often. She even encouraged me to stay in Germany so that they would join me later. By the time I realised, she was pregnant with another man. I got my documents within nine months but she couldn’t wait for me,” he recounted.
Kofi mentioned that his ex-wife cut communication with him and refused to give him access to his child. According to Kofi, she regretted her decision after her delivery and apologised, but they could not reunite and settled on divorce.
