US-based Ghanaian Korkor Addo disclosed that she and her husband tried to have kids for 15 years and tried to convince her husband to impregnate another woman.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mrs Addo mentioned that her in-laws never questioned them on their childlessness, but she was anxious about her situation.
“In the beginning, I cried a lot about it, but my husband encouraged me. I even told her to find another woman, but he refused. My husband didn’t bother me about it but I felt sorry about it.
I thought having kids around would make him happy. His encouragement made me feel better, and his family and mine never asked me about kids,” she said.
Mrs Addo shared life in the US and encouraged Ghanaians who wish to travel to learn a skill first. She met her Gospel Musician-husband in the UK and has been married for almost two decades.
Korkor Addo has been a hairdresser in the US for 19 years. Her father convinced her to study nursing, but Kokor refused and pursued her dreams of becoming a hairstylist.
