US-based Ghanaian Joseph Gagla shared his broken heart story on how his ex-girlfriend left his house on a Saturday morning for her wedding.
In an interview on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Joseph recounted how his ex-girlfriend visited him on a Friday evening and got married to another man the next morning.
“My ex spent a Friday night with me, and we need everything. She told me it was her mother’s birthday the next day. Her mom’s house was closer to mine than hers. She left at 7 am, and by noon, I got calls from friends asking whether I was getting married,” he recounted.
“I had to understand from her point of view because she met someone from Italy on Facebook who had promised to come for her. Even though I was hurt, I put myself in her shoes. We met after her marriage, and she explained everything. Maybe I would have done the same, Joseph added.
Joseph shared his heartbreak story on Facebook, through which he met his current African-American wife.
