US-based Ghanaian musician Kofi Daeshaun disclosed that he has spent over $1,000,000 on his music so far.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Kofi Daeshaun indicated that he does not believe in constantly promoting a single. Daeshaun said he would build a catalogue and eventually promote that than promote singles only.
“I’ve spent a lot of money on music. It can build an ultra-modern market in Kaneshie. The typical Ghanaian artiste will push a single. They want to make money, but I believe if you do it well, the money will come eventually.
If you have a hit song and your catalogue only has seven tracks, the fan will only stay for about 30 minutes. I have ten albums, so you’ll listen to my songs for three to seven days,” he said.
The host of Daily Hustle Worldwide asked if the amount would be up to a million dollars, and the artiste said, “easily or even more. This is a big investment vehicle, and one song will give you all that money back.”
Kofi Daeshaun is a multi-genre artiste. He makes Rock and Roll, Highlife, Hiplife, Rock, Pop, etc. He added that he has over 250 songs and will release his eleventh album soon.
