German-Nigerian, Jennifer Hurbert disclosed that her stepfather raped her at age six, and her biological mom defended him in court.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Jennifer revealed that her stepfather began at age six and continued until she was 12. Jennifer mentioned that it happened whenever her mother was out of the house.
“He called me out into the parlour one night, and I saw him half naked watching porn. He told me to lie on the floor. That was how it started. I couldn’t tell my mom because he said I’d destroy the family if I did.
I couldn’t speak up until I was 12 years. I reported it to my school teacher, and they invited her to the school. They took me to the orphanage home that day, but my mom apologised, threw the man out and cried for me to return home. So I did,” she narrated.
According to Jennifer, her mom’s attitude changed after that. Jennifer’s mom allowed her to do anything she wanted, including smoke cigarettes. However, on her 13 birthday, her stepfather returned.
“I fled from the house and lived in an orphanage for six years. We processed the case to court, but he denied it all. My mom was a witness at the court, and she lied. She told the court that I had a boyfriend at the time, but it was a lie,” she added.
Jennifer told DJ Nyaami that she got depressed at 27 years and has been in that state since.
