Italy-based Ghanaian Nana Kwame has stated that he does not blame the leaders for the country’s receding process because the Ghanaian youths do not hold them accountable.
In an interview on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Nana Kwame described the youths as fools for allowing the slow process of the country and the influx of Chinese nationals in the country.
Still, on Ghana’s economic development and governance, Nana Kwame indicated that the youths are to blame “because the youths are encouraging poor governance. We are the problem.
We’re not pushing the leaders enough to help us. The youths are fools. All they care about is alcohol and aphrodisiacs. So I don’t blame the leaders but the youths. They must be smart.”
Moreover, Nana Kwame mentioned that Ghanaians have permitted foreign nationals, especially Chinese, but they are not helping the country.
“Chinese farmers are in Italy too. They can’t grow anything apart from what they are told. But look at what is happening in Ghana. We’ve always mined gold in Ghana, but it never destroyed our water bodies until the Chinese stepped in,” he added.
Nana Kwame also encouraged the youths to travel to experience other parts of the world if they get the opportunity.
