22-year-old security guard Eric Mensah received Gha1000 from viewers of SVTV Africa on Tuesday, July 5.

After his initial interview, some patrons of SVTV Africa Foundation communicated with DJ Nyaami to help Eric. The young man expressed gratitude to the patrons for their support.

“May God bless them for helping an orphan like me. May God fills their pockets and blesses their families too,” he added.

According to Eric, the owner of the house he guards has also promised to send him Ghs500 after watching the interview.

In Eric’s first interview, he revealed that he survives on Gari daily. Moreover, he cannot afford to rent a room in Accra with his Ghs400 monthly salary. As a result, he sleeps on a corridor at his workplace.
