Michael Kyei Donkor is a forensic scientist, cyber security expert, a single father and a master’s degree law student taking advantage of the free education policy to get the best training.

In the UK, armed forces personnel who have served for more than six years are given free university education at the end of their military careers. According to Michael, he is just taking advantage of the system to get an education.

Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Mr Donkor mentioned that he does not believe life begins at 40. According to Michael, he is getting all the education he needs for a better life and finally retiring at 55 to enjoy life.

“I took advantage of the system because I’ve always loved to learn. I’ve done media studies, and I have a diploma in theology. Apart from that, I’ve done little nursing bedside forensics and cyber security. Presently, I’m studying law,” he said.

In response to why he has not settled on one field, Mr Donkor explained that UK had a lot to offer, and he could not let the opportunity pass.

“In my case, it’s not a mistake because I need to know a little of everything as a future lawyer. A pastor, media personnel, a nurse could need my service, and I will have knowledge in their respective field,” he said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.

“I believe wife begins at the age of 18. From 18 to 40 is the period to get a better education, better job, settle with your wife and family, home, etc. So that you can enjoy the fruits of your labour.”
