Italy-based Ghanaian, Portia has stated that most African Christians are hypocrites and must stop thinking of going to heaven.
In a chat on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Portia referred to the lifestyle of Ghanaian Christians in Italy. According to her, most of them only attend church as fashion police.
”They will stop praying to check your clothes as you enter the church auditorium. It is just for a fashion show, they are all hypocrites. Christians don’t go to worship anymore. Blacks should count themselves out when God comes.”
“Most of us are filled with hypocrisy. Even the whites do not act that way. My area alone has about 50 Ghanaian churches, but we don’t practice what the Bible says.”
According to Portia, such a lifestyle made it difficult for her to attend church as often as she used to, “but I still believe in God.”
Speaking about life in Italy, Portia mentioned that she has not worked a day in six years. However, she lives a good life as a housewife due to the structures in Italy.
”I haven’t worked in six years but we live well. My husband is the only one who provides for us, but we are good. If I were in Ghana, I wouldn’t look this nice. It is because of the good system here,” Portia said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
Moreover, Portia stated that the government must put in proper structures to cater to the needs of Ghanaians.
