South Africa-based Ghanaian, Mary Bimpeh, has disclosed that she will employ a Ghanaian because of an experience with one.

“I don’t work with Ghanaians anymore. I lost my first shop because of a Ghanaian. She told my landlord that if she makes 20k rand monthly, then I make more. So the shop owner sacked me.

I don’t enjoy working with them because they take you for a fool……she offered to pay more for the shop. We only speak English in my salon because there are no Ghanaians,” she revealed.

Mrs. Bimpeh shed some light on the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. According to her, the recent one happened six months ago. However, they are informed to stay home when such protests begin.

“If it will last a week, foreign nationals do not go out to work till it ends. They have also given us a year to leave South Africa. All we do is protect ourselves because the attacks happen every two years,” she added.
