Fruit seller and single parent, Becky AKA Kooko, has indicated that she would rather suffer to cater to her children than sleep with men for money because she is better than that.
In an interview with SVTV Africa, Becky mentioned that she is better off a hustler than a slay queen. Even though she wishes for a good life, it must not come from selling her body.
“I don’t fancy hookup. I want to transform my life and be different among my family members. I have two kids, and I have to make money to feed them. There is no one to support me. The slay queen lifestyle is not something I can do either. That lifestyle will not help me. I want to hustle or even suffer if I have to cater to their needs,” Becky told the host, DJ Nyaami.
The 27-year-old also mentioned that due to her past failed relationships, she is not ready for any romantic relationships now.
“I don’t want men right now. I’m taking care of my children. Some of them are not good, they only want romance, but when it comes to responsibility, they lack it. Men often approach me, but I’m not ready because the first and second relationship did not go as planned. I did not heed to advise, but I’m careful now,” she stated.
Becky also advised the youth to be patient and heed advice because “I did not listen to advise and look at my life now. It is a mess. So please listen to your parents.”
