Boutique owner and young lady, Moujara Ibrahim Dauda has recounted her heartbreak experience in an interview on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami.
According to AJ as she is affectionately called, she believed that she had found the love of her life until the worst happened. They were in a long-distance relationship for 3 years. AJ lived in Kumasi while he stayed in Wenchi however, she frequently visited.
AJ disclosed that before she met him, she was already in a relationship with a married man but claims she was not aware of this fact. After “we met, I broke up with the married man even though he took care of me and all. At the time too, I had enough money so I took responsibility for him (Wenchi guy) and his two children.
Sometimes I would give him Gh5000 to invest in his tiles business and because he’s a Muslim and I’m Christian I knew our marriage would be difficult. So I used to send money to my mother and tell her it’s from him. I did everything for my family to like him,” she recounted.
Speaking on how she became blind at a point, Moujara revealed that her boyfriend’s ex took her to a ‘witch doctor’ (mallam) with the plan to eventually kill her off. The lady believed AJ was making decisions for her baby daddy.
“We visited several churches and they all said the same thing. Eventually, I got my eyesight back but he kept doing the same thing so broke up,” she narrated.
As if that was the end of it, they got back together and this time things got worse. She revealed that her boyfriend’s business collapsed and he had to move to the capital.
