A 21 year old girl and a mother of three, in an interview with DJ Nyaami on the SVTV Ghetto live segment, has disclosed that she takes weed to stay high.
“I was born it Tarkwa-Hunivally and I am the first of ten children from same parents. At age 12, my parents left me, this and many other reasons compared me to travel to Tema for my own hustle.
I started smoking weed after I met my first friends in the western region’’ She said.
‘’In Tema, I started with pure water selling, until I met a boyfriend who impregnated me. As it stands now, I have three children, two with a Tarkwa boyfriend, and the last with my current Tema boyfriend’’.
“Apart from Weed, I take in Tramadol; however, I don’t misbehave when I take this stuff like others will do’’ She narrated.
According to her, she can go a day without tramadol but a day without weed will be very difficult since she may not be able to eat.
When asked why she takes tramadol, she said;
“sometimes, I think too much, so when it happens like that, I take it to cool my nerves, but I have come to realize that, the more I take it, the more I worry myself so I have decided to stop.
She however, disclosed that, she has been on break for some time now, her reason being that, the drugs are now expensive. Meanwhile, she revealed that, the ‘’abotchi people” are the main sellers of these drugs.
