Artiste Manager and Entertainment pundit, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog has alleged that most “new-school” Ghanaian rappers are terrible at producing “deep and smart” lyrics.
According to him, these rappers hide under the guise of confidence to drop senseless lyrics.
“I have listened to Ghanaian rappers that have consistently dropped whack lyrics with confidence and because of their confidence, nobody even listens to those lines. Once you spit your record out, you cannot take it back that is why the likes of Eminem, Tupac, and Biggie became the greatest because they never dropped any whack lyrics,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Bulldog has opined that in terms of lyrical dexterity, Ghanaian female rapper Eno Barony is better than most male rappers in the entertainment industry.
Bulldog believes not even Sarkodie can be compared to Eno in the rap game.
According to him, Eno should rather be associated with the likes of Lord Kenya, Tinny, Okyeame Kwame, and Okomfour Kwadee who he claims are the great lyricists of all times.
Bulldog has been eulogizing the ‘rap goddess’ ever since she “dismantled” Sista Afia and Medikal in a diss track dubbed ‘Argument Done’.
