A club Tweet accompanying a collage read: ”Today marks exactly five 5?? years since the passing of the most successful coach in the history of our club, Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio.

”We remember the many great and joyous moments we chalked together and continue to pray for your soul.”

Attuquayefio died at the age of 70 in 2015 following a long battle with cancer.

He was also national team coach for Benin and chalked a historic feat of leading the Squirrels to their first Nations Cup in 2004.

As a player, Attuquayefio won the Nations Cup itself, scoring twice in the group stages before starting the 1965 final as Ghana beat Tunisia 3-2.
