Rapper, EL has waded into the unending debate on Azonto in Ghana.

Sarkodie last week after releasing #Fahookieme which features Tulenke called for the return of Azonto.

This call triggered Tweets from Azonto artistes who much has not been heard of for a very long time.

Artiste like Gasmilla have claimed that Azonto was not dead in the coastal part of Ghana and therefore if there should be a come back, there’s the need for artistes like him to be consulted in that regard.

But commenting on the brouhaha on Twitter, EL said “Funny how y’all wanna turn this into a competition. Azonto Music does not belong to any single musician or any such group, it is the property of the GHANAIAN people. And it is big enough to Share. No hostility needed”.

He added ‘When my counterparts and I say #BringBackAzonto , ask yourself- what do I stand to Lose?”
