Ghanaian actor of ‘Efiewura’ fame, Nana Yaw Kwakye, died in the early hours of Wednesday, May 4, 2022, due to a short illness, and his family is holding a 40-day observation for him.
The event will come off in the early hours of Saturday, July 9, at the Star of the Sea Parish at Dansoman last stop. The date for the burial rites and funeral remains undisclosed.
Known in private life as Omansomfo Nana Yaw Kwakye, the actor was a member of Accra-based Radio Gold’s newspaper review team.
He died at the age of 72, leaving behind three children.
