Fante Kenkey seller, Kofi Nyarko has disclosed that some three ladies in Tema advised him that it would be better if he were a thief.
Kofi Kenkey, as he is popularly called in Tema stated on SVTV Africa that he met these ladies while selling. According to him, these three ladies mentioned that he should steal from people than sell food.
“I know three ladies in Tema who told me that instead of selling this, I should rather be a thief. I did not propose love to them. I met them while I was selling, and they made that comment.”
“I was hurt when I heard that, and I told them that I may even be more responsible than your husband,” he said.
Kofi Kenkey also shared that his vision is to establish a company that produces kenkey or ten washing bays to reduce unemployment.
Kofi mentioned that he began selling kenkey in 2017 after his guardian sacked him.
