Legendary Ghanaian singer/songwriter Afro Moses has rebuked critics of Sarkodie’s recent collaboration with Bob Marley and urged them to celebrate him for this feat.

Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Afro Moses indicated that he is proud of what King Sark did on the ‘Stir it Up’ remix and congratulated him for him. However, he reprimanded critics and called them out for their greed and envy towards the rapper.

“It is envy and greed. Instead of support, you are condemning him. Nigerians don’t do that. Why does it always have to be Ghana? Sarkodie rapped in Twi and added English. He has done well. I’m proud of him,” he said while clapping for Sarkodie.

Moreover, Afro Moses often referred to as African James Brown mentioned some other artists he is proud of. He mentioned, “Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, (Kuami) Eugene and the ladies, Wiyaala and the others. We don’t love ourselves. Instead of supporting, you only talk crap.”

Ernest Akwasi Safo Badu, AKA Afro Moses, is one of Ghana’s internationally recognised artists. He is known for his energetic performance, hence the name African James Brown.
