Budding midget actor Benjamin Kwao also known as Tapoli has complained about how Kumawood star Lilwin ignored him when he tried reaching out to him.
In an interview with host DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, the diminutive actor, revealed that he met with Lilwin at UTV and when he tried reaching out to him, the Kumawood star deliberately ignored him.
“When I started acting I have had lots of people looking down on me even on set. I remember I once met Lilwin at UTV and when I approached him that I’m a young actor and would love him to help me, he just stared at me and ignored me.” Tapoli said.
Tapoli pointed out how bad he felt after the encounter. He added that, some top Ghanaian celebrities are selfish and hypocrite who claim to be helping upcoming acts but in actual sense not true.
“I got hurt, really hurt because I know I’m talented and all I need is help. So a top actor like Lilwin could have easily help me blow but they won’t because you’re not driving the V8s and not dress like them so…. yet you see them on TV claiming their doors are open for young and upcoming actors but when you get close to them, they ignore you.” He said.
The vertically challenged young actor however noted that, in the next five, he is hoping to be the biggest thing in Ghana movie.
